Dinnerware designs for Le Petit Palais, Jumeirah Frankfurt
About Le Petit Palais
Le Petit Palais is one of the three dining outlets at Jumeirah Frankfurt. The venue was opened on September 1st, as part of the hotel’s official opening ceremony. It is located on the hotel’s ground floor adjacent to the MyZeil shopping center, and gives busy shoppers a chance to stop by for a casual breakfast, lunch or high tea service in pleasant environment.
Le Petit Palais was created to offer various dining options throughout the day, combining the atmosphere of a bistro restaurant for light meals and snacks with the touch of French style cafe offering pastries and high tea services.
Dinnerware designs for Le Petit Palais
Glass Studio created dinnerware designs that accommodate various dining options at Le Petit Palais and are also in harmony with the decor of the venue. Le Petit Palias features warm colors such as shades of brown, beige and orange that accentuate the vibrant atmosphere of the dining service . To accompany the warm yet casual style of the venue, Glass Studio designed dinnerware pieces that combine the elements of clear glass and metal that blend perfectly into the decor.
Dinnerware designs for this venue included a range of glass bowls and platters, high tea stands and buffet items. The key to this project was to create dinnerware that would be highly functional and that would give possibility of creating numerous options for food presentation. Thus, some of our best selling buffet items were used for high tea services as well, providing restaurant’s patrons with numerous possibilities of creating various presentations depending on the dining occasion.
Dinnerware designs included round wheel buffet display, small buffet stand with glass bowls (that could be used for salads, sauces or small food items such as chocolates and candies) and long glass platters for dessert presentation or canapes and finger food. Among others, designs also included glass cone stands that are used in presentation of individual dessert items or appetizers.
Overall, glass dinnerware items created by Glass Studio for Jumeirah Frankfurt proved to be very functional yet stylish and modern, in line with the venue’s decor and dining atmosphere.
